I’m Anna-Louise Adepegba,  student reporter at the University of Sheffield with a passion for storytelling, creative media, and fostering meaningful connections through my work.  I have a key understanding of the multi-faceted relationship between brands, organisations and press. My skills and passions have always been rooted in the communicative field, enabling me to understand the goals of organisations and help achieve them through impactful communications and media strategies.

As a news reporter and multi-section contributor for my student newspaper, I’ve developed a strong ability to craft compelling stories, source reliable information, and tailor my writing style for diverse audiences. I’ve also written for other publications, adapting my tone and approach to align with each platform’s unique voice—a skill that underscores my quick adaptability and attention to detail. My experience has strengthened my ability to connect with audiences effectively, no matter the medium or message.

With proficiency in WordPress, InDesign, Excel, and social media, I combine creativity with technical expertise to produce impactful content. Beyond journalism, I bring a collaborative and proactive approach to every project, exemplified by my role as the Social Secretary for the University of Sheffield Reggae Society, where I organize vibrant events that foster culture and community. These experiences have solidified my passion for communication and media, and I’m eager to apply my skills to projects that inspire, inform, and drive results.

Currently, I’m actively seeking placements and internships in PR, journalism, and marketing to further develop my skills and gain industry experience. I’m particularly interested in roles that allow me to combine my passion for storytelling with strategic communications, helping organisations connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. My dedication to meeting deadlines, adapting quickly, and producing high-quality content ensures I can contribute effectively to any team
