Since beginning my role, the society have finally reached its role of 1,000 Instagram followers. We have built connections with new organisations, creating great opportunities  for members and giving the society a true and respected place in he cities Reggae ommunity.

Currently Social and Media Secretary at the University of Sheffield's ever-growing Sheffield Reggae Society.  The society was in need of a true effort to engage the younger audiences with this interest, specifically as diverse and new as those who attend the University.

Engagement is already up by 110%  this academic year.

 In efforts to grow the community, I am managing the utilisation of  new graphics and  approaches to content for the social media, while building connections  with key organisations and individuals in the scene in Sheffield to plan events , increase membership   and promote the society growth and exposure.  This role has solidified my skills in public relations and media creation.

Regenerating Tottenham Hale: An Independent Investigation.

This investigative report delves into the ongoing regeneration of Tottenham Hale, a transformative project reshaping the area’s landscape and community. Through extensive research, I gathered and analyzed a wealth of data, showcasing my ability to independently source and present complex information.  The report features interviews with key stakeholders and local residents and community groups.   providing diverse perspectives on the impact of regeneration. This piece exemplifies my strengths in investigative journalism, data-driven storytelling, and delivering a comprehensive, well-researched narrative.

I have a good grip on excel, data annotation, analysis and presentation. 

This was a highly graded report which showcases a multitude of skills which directly apply to the communicative industry. Through the analysis of unique changes in the area, I found purposeful interviews, published content and events which reflected the outcomes in relation to the  investigation title.

As a news reporter and content writer, I specialize in uncovering compelling stories and delivering high-quality content that informs and resonates with readers. At Forge Press, the University of Sheffield’s student newspaper, I play an integral role in the news team, independently sourcing stories, conducting interviews, and ensuring my reporting adheres to media law and editorial standards. I’m set to contribute to all six print issues this year, showcasing my dedication to producing impactful journalism on a consistent basis.

In addition to my work at Forge Press, I write for other publications, where I adapt my tone and style to suit diverse audiences and platforms. This versatility allows me to create engaging content across different mediums, whether I’m reporting on local issues, writing features, or crafting opinion pieces.
